I’ve been cutting my own hair for years now because I absolutely hate going to the salon to get a haircut that might turn out the way I don’t want it to. For this particular haircut, salons typically use razors to create the choppy effect on the layers. However, since people like myself are not experienced with such instruments nor want to invest in a razor (not the one for the face or legs :3), regular scissors (and shears) are a fantastic alternative. The technique I use is simple and the way I use it is pretty repetitive.
