Georgian designer Avtandil brought diversity to the catwalk with a brand new collection inspired by Leni Riefenstahl’s “Africa”. Blended bright colours, underlined feminine silhouette and one-of-a-kind details are the main characteristics of the collection. Avtandil has succeeded in expressing the fascination of Africa in a completely new manner. Ms Couture’s collection from Australia transformed J models into confectionary flavoured goddesses, encased in a colour palette of mouth-watering sorbet tones including lemon, mint, pink, lilac and ice blue. The fabrics used are as soft as fairy floss, corsets are structured like chocolate topping and the trims are like the fine, delectable craftsmanship employed by old world Venetian artisans.
